From his first days at COL as a driver, Pastor Moisés stood out for his dedication, care, and genuinely warm
connection with the children, teenagers, staff, and volunteers. Now, our ministry is truly blessed to have this
wonderful man take over as our chaplain. This role goes beyond spiritual support and involves attending to, guiding,
and teaching all who desire this support.
The inauguration ceremony took place in the presence of pastors and missionaries: Pastor Luiz Eduardo Toledo -
Igreja do Nazareno - Florianópolis/SC; Pastor Velderson Rudi de Menezes - Primeira Igreja Batista de Esteio; Pastor
Valzedir Menezes - Igreja Brasa de Esteio; Pastor Paulo André Réquia - Igreja Batista de Niteroi - Canoas;
Missionary Lyndell Campbell Réquia - Coordinator of the Pastoral Formation Course of the Baptist Seminary of RS;
and Missionary John Paul Allen of Texas. They came to support Pastor Moisés in this new phase and reassure the
partnership and faith bonds that strengthen our mission. After the worship service and the official ceremony, we had
a special get-together, celebrating this new season with joy and hope.
As chaplain, Pastor Moisés provides spiritual, emotional, and moral support. He will walk alongside our children
and teenagers on their journeys and offer orientation and wise guidance in moments of challenge and resilience. His
long experience at COL has given him a profound understanding of the necessities and daily challenges, making him
specially qualified for this new mission.
During the ceremony, Móisés expressed his dedication to supporting our children in care and others in and
associated with our ministry. His designation reinforces Chain of Love's commitment to providing a safe,
welcoming, and spiritually enriching environment for everyone. We're confident that God will bless him so he can
make a difference in the lives of children, teenagers, and members of Chain of Love.
